Make sure there is no dirt or grime on the glass, as this can cause additional scratches once you start buffing. 2. Have two small plastic tubs ready; Quart or pint size containers work well. Fill half way with water. 3. Place your polishing wheel in the water; Let it be completely moist, but not wet. 4. Pour some cerium oxide into an empty tub and add enough water to make a slurry (a thin, paste-like mixture). 5. Attach a damp polishing wheel to your electric drill and dip it into the slurry. 6. Keep a polishing wheel in your work area, use a smaller sized felt wheel if there is a scratch near the corner of the window; Keep the wheel moving in an up-down and circular motion. Make sure the slurry doesn’t dry out, as this can cause your glass to overheat and crack. If your slurry is drying out, you can spray it with a spray bottle filled with water. Package Includes: 1 x Cerium Oxide Powder Notes: 1. Please note that this is for light hair scratches, surface marks, water spots. 2. Working with cerium oxide can be messy! When buffing, there will be splatter. You need to have supplies available to cover any areas you don’t want to clean later.
