When the laser tool is switched to the unlocked position, the self-leveling mode is on. The laser beam will blink continuously when the tool is beyond self-leveling. Note: Keep the product in the locked position when not in use. Staying in the unlocked position and moving it too much will cause damage.
When the pendulum lock is in the locked position, you can position the laser tool at different angles to project non-level straight lines.
